The TVS Scoolty flagship, which has been a best-selling motorcycle among female riders in India, now acquires another version included to the flagship, the latest Scooty Zest 110. The scooter was launched at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 previous this year and pulled in huge attention from people who attended the expo.

Unlike its previous models, the Scooty Pep+ and the Scooty Streak, the Zest 110 is very much stylish, bolder and powerful. It’s powered by a whole new 110 cc air-cooled, single cylinder, carbureted CVT-I engine which can produce 8.8 Nm and 8 BHP. Amazingly the very engine is also seen with the bigger auto-gear scooters from TVS, such as the Jupiter and Wego. The Zest 110 also features of the top-of-the-class mileage rating of 62kmpl.

The headlight has a familiar design, with flush-equipped smart indicator lights on the front bib, bravely displaying a TVS logo placed over a black panel. The TVS Zest 110 receives side body panels with modified accents, in addition to a fantastic rear end which features a sparkling LED tail lamp and indicator lights configuration that mixes beautifully with the scooter’s aesthetics.

The tool clump is dressed in white and is black-lit, set appealingly with a big speedometer, fuel gauge and an odometer. The tool clump even has got an ‘ECO’ indicator which promotes economical riding and a ‘long-lazing’ indicator which tells riders to shut down the engine when stuck in situations like a traffic jam.

The Scooty Zest 110 comes in five eye-catching color variations: Powerful Pink, Firy Red, Dynamic White, Daring black and Terrific Turquoise.

A withdrawn bag hook is set blow the saddle and the handlebar. These accompany the amazing 19-litre under-seat storage space and the open glove compartment at the front for additional storage capacity.

The saddle is now made wider and longer and gets white double-sewing for a more sophisticated look and feel. A convenient and stylish alloy grab rail helps the back seat rider feel safer. The front flat-board is broader than before for comfortable riding.

Suspension responsibilities are managed by a monoshock at the rear and telescopic forks at the front. 90mm tubeless tires booted to 10” inch steel wheels on the front and rear offer premium comfort and grip. The low weight of the scooter around 97 kgs, a tighter turning radius and low seat height of about 160 mm makes handling easier. Drum braking systems are boasts at the rear and front, a 130 mm at the rear and a 110 mm one at the front.
